The Green Bay Packers improved to 2-0 in the NFL preseason with a 21-17 victory over the Washington Redskins. After giving up a field goal following a dropped punt by Trevor Davis, Aaron Rodgers marched the offense down the field, ending his evening with a touchdown pass to Martellus Bennett. Brett Hundley led his own touchdown drive before halftime, dumping a pass to Aaron Jones to make it 14-3. The Redskins would respond with two straight touchdowns of their own before Taysom Hill scampered 23 yards for a score of his own to cap off the scoring for the Packers.
The Green Bay Packers will host practice this week before heading to Colorado to face the Denver Broncos on Saturday for an 8 p.m. start.
