Katherine Kirk holds the lead at the midway point of the Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic outside of Green Bay. The native Australian carded a nine-under 63 with eight birdies and an eagle during Friday’s second round. She sits on top of the leaderboard at 13-under par. Play was interrupted by a three and a half hour rain delay. Action was called off because of darkness at 8:30 with 61 players still on the course. Second round play resumes on Saturday at 8 a.m. Third round play should start around noon.
