The Milwaukee Brewers lost to the Cincinnati Reds Wednesday night 4-3 in a game that was close throughout. Chase Anderson started the game for ‘The Crew’ but left after one inning of work with a strained oblique. Leaving the game in the hands of the bullpen who kept them in it for most of the night.
Ryan Braun went deep for the Brewers in the second inning to start off the scoring. Newly added Stephen Vogt got the start behind the plate and added an RBI sac fly in the second inning. Staying hot at the plate, Travis Shaw hit a solo shot in the eighth inning but it wasn’t enough as the Brewers fall.
‘The Crew’ now hold a one game lead atop the division over the Chicago Cubs. They will continue their series with the Reds on Thursday. First pitch to be thrown out at 6:10 from the Great American Ball Park.
