The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Pittsburg Pirates Wednesday night 4-3 in a thriller. The Brewers were down 3-1 heading into the seventh when the bats came alive. Eric Thames sacrificed in a run to cut the lead down to one. Then with a crack of the bat, Domingo Santana put ‘The Crew’ up for good with a two-run homer.
It was the bullpen that was on fire in Milwaukee last night. Oliver Drake came in and held the Pirates scoreless in the seventh to get the win. Corey Knebel shut the door in the ninth with the help of an incredible play from Orlando Arcia up the middle.
The Brewers will look to tie the series up at two games a piece in game four. It will be an 1:10 start time for ‘The Crew’ today.
