The Milwaukee Brewers lost to the Pittsburgh Pirates 7-3 Tuesday night at Miller Park. The Pirates jumped out to an early lead in the first inning putting six runs on the board. Zach Davies had a hard time settling in as he gave up seven earned runs in five innings of work.
On a positive note, ‘The Crew’ hung tough after a disappointing first inning. Nick Franklin had a solo shot in the second inning to go along with an RBI double in the third. Keon Broxton also stayed hot by hitting an RBI double in the sixth inning.
The Brewers will play the third game of the series tonight in Milwaukee. Junior Guerra will take the mound with first pitch coming at 7:10 PM.
