The Milwaukee Brewers lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks 3-2 last night. The Brewers could only manage two hits off starting pitcher Zach Godley and Arizona’s bullpen closed out the game not allowing another hit. The Brewers took the early lead with Hernon Perez’s two-run home run in the fourth inning, but Junior Guerra gave up a two-run homer to Brandon Drury in the sixth inning to give the Diamondbacks a come-from-behind victory. Guerra (1-1) took the loss giving up three runs in six innings. Milwaukee (33-30) still lead the Chicago Cubs by two games in the National League Central. The Brewers and Diamondbacks will play today at 3 p.m. in the final game of the series.
