Died on Jun 01, 2017 and resided in Dunbar, Wisconsin
age 90, of Dunbar, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home early Thursday morning June 1, 2017. She was born on March 23, 1927; daughter of the late Fabian and Victoria (Jandrin) Malfroid. Harriet loved gardening, bird watching and all wildlife. She will always be remembered for cooking her wonderful Fish Fry’s at North Country Inn and Trout Haven Resort. Harriet had a big heart and was loved by everybody.
Harriet is survived by her two children: Bonnie (Ed) Nowland and Bob Parins; five grandchildren: John Peterson, Dorie Nicholson, Michelle Brickner, Tracy Zingler and Tammy Pellizzaro; one sister, Eunice Spitzer; and her cat, Walter. She was preceded in death by first husband, Bob Parins; recent husband, Duane Beffa; daughter Pat Peterson; and five siblings: Delores, Marie, Eli, Wilford, and Delores “Girly”.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 am on Friday, June 9, 2017, at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Pembine with Father Matt Settle officiating. Family and friends may call from 10 am until the time of Mass at Church. Interment will be in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Dunbar.
