Clarence Roy Destree, 90, Luxemburg, passed away at his home in the Town of Union on May 30, 2017. He was born on March 18, 1927 to John and Clemintine (Engelbert) Destree. On May 22, 1946 he married Marion Parins at Namur, she preceded him in death on October 1, 2013. They live and farmed in the Town of Union for many years.
Clarence was a wonderful caretaker for the majority of his life. He was an amazing storyteller who always had a great smile on face. Clarence enjoyed farming, friends, trips to the casino, fishing, and traveling, but especially spending time with his family.
Survivors include his three children, Craig (Claire) Destree, Namur; Jeff Destree, Green Bay; and Keith (Victoria) Destree, Namur. 13- Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, a son-in-law, Lyle Krueger, Little Sturgeon; a sister-in-law, Mildred Destree, Namur. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Marion; two sons, Tom and Perry; a daughter, Deanna Krueger; a granddaughter; two brothers, Bill (Josie) Destree and Joe Destree; a sister, Emily (Don) Berger.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2017 at St. Francis & St. Mary Parish, Brussels, the Rev. Anthony Birdsall officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay. Friends may call from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday at the church. Forbes Funeral Home, Sturgeon Bay is in charge of arrangements.
