Luxemburg-Casco swept a double header while Sturgeon Bay squeaked out a high scoring affair as high school baseball hit the diamond on Saturday.
In Denmark, the Spartans captured two victories over the rival Vikings 7-5 and 8-3. In the first match-up, Anthony Otradovec knocked in three while Bryce TeKulve and Austin Tlachac each added one a piece to keep up with two RBI performances by the Vikings’ Pete Mears and Jack Satori. In the second match-up, TeKulve nearly went the distance with six strikeouts while also registering two hits and a couple RBIs to help his own cause. Jake Thyes and Mason Isenberg also added RBIs for the Spartans.
In Chilton, it was Max Bordeau with a walk-off two-run single to get the victory for the Clippers over Winneconne 12-11, the high-scoring affair saw Bordeau, Tanner Degrave, Jake Moeller, Anthony Moore, and Ryan Jacobsen have multi-hit games. The Clippers needed all seven innings to capture victory from the jaws of defeat by scoring three runs in the final stanza after wasting an 8-1 lead.
In Coleman, Wes Gallenberger and Andrew Richard collected the only two RBIs for the Kewaunee Storm in a 8-2 loss to Coleman.
