Wily Peralta did not receive the offensive support the Brewers had hoped in a 2-1 loss at St. Louis Tuesday night. After five and two-thirds innings Peralta exited the game with seven strikeouts and two earned runs given up. He was outdone by Carlos Martinez who lasted seven and one-third innings having allowed no earned runs.
Brewers batters were stifled all night at the plate. Each one of the five hits allowed in the game were singles. Jett Bandy accounted for the only Brewers RBI of the game in the seventh inning. The loss dropped Milwaukee to (14-14) on the season. St. Louis is now (13-13) on the year. First pitch tonight is slated for 7:15.
