The Green Bay Packers have released running backs Don Jackson and Christine Michael. The transactions were announced Monday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.
Jackson was originally signed by the Packers as an undrafted free agent on May 6, 2016, and spent the first five games on Green Bay’s practice squad before being signed to the active roster on Oct. 20. He appeared in three games with one start last season before being placed on injured reserve on Nov. 16.
Michael played in six regular-season games and three postseason contests for the Packers last season after being claimed off waivers from the Seattle Seahawks on Nov. 16, 2016.
