Lincoln Barta led Kewaunee to a 7-3 win over Sevastopol Monday afternoon in high school baseball. In less than ideal field conditions the Storm pitcher struck out seven Pioneers in just three and one-third innings. Daniel Stangel, Wyatt Kruse and Cam Hanrahan each had two hits in the win. Wes Gallenberger added two RBI. Robby Pollman threw five solid innings for Sevastopol and struck out two in the loss.
Gibraltar took the long trip down and around Green Bay and lost 3-1 at Oconto. Ernie Erickson pitched four innings and allowed three earned runs in the loss. Brandon Emery-Jansen pitched two innings and struck out two and did not allow a run. Alex Johnson walked twice and scored teh lone Vikings run. Blue Devils pitcher Tony Marquarett pitched five innings, struck out seven and allowed only two hits.
Sturgeon Bay Vs. N.E.W. Lutheran baseball and softball were rained out.
