Robert (Bob) Zima, age 78 of Kewaunee died on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Emerald Shores Assisted Living. He was born in the Town of Carlton on June 9, 1938 to the late Ernest and Josephine (Kunesh) Zima.
He graduated from Sandy Bay Grade School and Kewaunee High School in 1956. He married Jennie Lauscher October 13, 1962 at Holy Rosary Church in Kewaunee. He served in the U. S. Army in 1956 to 1958.
He worked most of his life for Vinton Construction until retiring in 1996. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church in Casco. He was an avid collector of tractors and gas engines.
Survivors include Jennie, his wife of fifty-four years; a sister and brother-in-law: Rosemary and Francis (Chief) Tlachac. Two Rivers; a sister-in-law: Donna Lauscher, Casco; five nephews and four nieces; two God children. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Hubert and Mary Lauscher; two brothers-in-law: Jerry Lauscher and James Lauscher; a sister-in-law: Betty Lauscher; a niece: Jackie Lenth and a nephew-in-law: Rickie Lauscher
Friends may call at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Casco after 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 28 until the time of services. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. by Fr. Milton Suess. Burial of the urn will be at St. Adelbert Cemetery at Slovan.
Jennie and Rosemary would like to thank the staffs of Emerald Shores and Heartland Hospice for the care and concern that they gave Bob.
