The Milwaukee Brewers doubled up the Cincinnati Reds 4-2 on Easter Sunday. It marked their fifth win in six games. Wily Peralta moved to (3-0) to start the season with a sparkling 2.65 ERA through three games. He is in a big tie for the most wins by a pitcher in baseball.
Sunday’s win featured three homeruns. Eric Thames smashed his fifth long ball of the series with the Reds. Travis Shaw and Ryan Braun accounted for the rest of the fence clearing on Sunday.
Milwaukee opens a three-game series with the defending World Champion Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field tonight at 7:05 PM.
