The three-game series at Miller Park aka Wrigley North definitely had more Cubs fans in attendance this weekend. The Brewers stole game one Friday night with an extra innings wild pitch win. Sunday The Cubs outhit Milwaukee 11-4 and outscored them 7-4 to take two of three in the series.
Chicago scored four runs in the first inning and added another in the second against starting pitcher Zach Davies. Ryan Braun provided some instant offense in the third inning with a three-run homerun. It was Braun’s second homerun of the season.
The Brewers have Monday off before playing a two-game series against the Blue Jays in Toronto.
