Angeline (Angie) Kohlbeck, age 78 of Kewaunee died on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 Atrium Post Acute Care of Kewaunee. She was born on February 2, 1939 in Kewaunee to the late Alvin (Tiny) and Mary (Urban) Thor.
She graduated from Kewaunee High School in 1957. She married Robert Kohlbeck of Algoma on June 13, 1959 and he preceded her in death January 4, 1995.
She worked for the Kewaunee Care Center, worked for the Holy Rosary Child Care Center and later was a care taker of the late Fr. Dan Dewane.
She was a lifelong member of Holy Rosary Parish, a former member of the Kewaunee Jaycettes.
Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law: Carrie & Daniel Coonan, Austin, TX; Suzanne & Eric Neumann, Franklin, WI; Shari Kohlbeck & special friend, Jeromie Robertson, Green Bay; six grandchildren: Kaylin S. (Paul A.) Anderson, stationed in Honolulu, HI; 1Lt. Samuel T. VanBeckum, U. S. Army, Signal Corps Manhatten, KS deployed to South Korea; Corbin K. Coonan, Milwaukee, WI; Alec R. Neumann, Kate E. Neumann & Sarah E. Neumann of Franklin, WI; Madeline M. Burmeister, Kewaunee, WI; one great granddaughter: Arya M. Anderson, Honolulu, HI.
Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Saturday April 8 at Holy Rosary Church, Kewaunee until the time of services. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. by Fr. James Dillenberg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
The family would like to thank the staff of Atrium Post Acute Care Center and Asera Care Hospice for the support & care that they gave Angie and her family.
