Kewaunee County is one of the healthiest counties in the state of Wisconsin. According to the seventh annual County Health Rankings released Wednesday by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute, Kewaunee County ranked second out of 72 counties in the state. Kewaunee County Public health Director Cindy Kinnard comments on what she believes are the key factors to the high ranking.
Kewaunee County has ranked as high as second in the past but has not been able to top Ozaukee County for the number one spot as the healthiest county in the state. Door County ranked 26th in the County Health Rankings. You can find the complete rankings for Wisconsin online with this link.
