The Milwaukee Bucks are on a roll, earning their eighth win in nine games in a testy battle against the Los Angeles Lakers by a score of 107 to 103. A third quarter scuffle led to three ejections, that of Greg Monroe for the Bucks and Nick Young and D’Angelo Russell from the Lakers as the result of a hard foul from Malcolm Brogdon. The Bucks were up 10 late in the third quarter at the time, and the scuffle seemed to galvanize the Lakers on their home court; they’d cut the lead to three late before the Bucks were able to put the game away with free throws. The Bucks move to .500 (34-34). Their recent form coincides with the return of last season’s leading scorer Khris Middleton, who had a season-high 30 points. The Bucks currently hold the 7th seed in the East and will take on the Golden State Warriors on the road Saturday.
