Nancy M. Haen, 72 of Luxemburg died early Wednesday morning, March 08, 2017 surrounded by her family.
She was born in Tonet on March 03, 1945 to the late Richard R. and Marion R. (Marchant) Alsteen.
On September 24, 1966 she married Robert A. Haen at St. Martin Church, Tonet. Together they celebrated 50 years of marriage.
She was a graduate of Luxemburg High School in 1964 and earned her degree as a Cosmetologist. She began working at the Brown County Mental Health Center in the Maintenance Department, later receiving her Boiler Operator license and was the first woman Maintenance II at the hospital. She retired following 20 years of service.
She was a member of St. Mary Church, Luxemburg and a member of the Christian Mother Society of St. Mary.
Her enjoyments included reading, playing cards and going to movies. She and her family were campers and they occasionally went on mini-vacations.
Survivors include her husband, Bob and their two children, Debbie (Colin) Ihlenfeld, Luxemburg; Rob (Brenda) Haen, Green Bay; four grandchildren, Alysha Ihlenfeld, Julia Ihlenfeld, Zachary Haen and Brianna Haen; one brother and two sisters in law, Rick and Darla Alsteen, Crivitz; Barb Alsteen, Luxemburg; two sisters, Linda and Allen Magle, Sturgeon Bay; Patricia and Matt Slana, Sheboygan Falls; one sister in law, Marina Haen, Luxemburg; one godchild, Steve Jeanquart; nieces and nephews.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Gary Alsteen, Dale Alsteen and Gerald Alsteen; three brothers in law and two sisters in law, Donald and Leona Haen; Lloyd Haen; Gladys and Frank Ciha; one nephew, Jim Ciha; one niece, Karen Ciha; her father in law and mother in law, Bill and Rose Haen. Funeral 11:00 am on Saturday at the church, with Rev. Milton Suess officiating.
Entombment in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
