One of the biggest exhibit upgrades in the history of The Ridges Sanctuary will be open to the public on Saturday. Supported by the town of Baileys Harbor and the Federal Highway Administration’s Scenic Byways program, the new exhibits will focus on the history of The Ridges Sanctuary and the land that it occupies. Development Director Drew Richmond says after being closed for nearly two weeks to allow for the installation of the new exhibits, he is excited for the visitors to experience something that has been five years in the making.
The new exhibits will feature hands-on exhibits and videos featuring Wisconsin’s oldest non-profit nature preserve.
