Two counselors at Gibraltar School District in Fish Creek have earned statewide recognition for excellence. Chelsea Roberts and Brooke Peterson recently earned the Program of Promise award from the Wisconsin School Counselor Association. Through the selective process, the WSCA gave Roberts and Peterson an extensive audit of the programming and services they were providing to Gibraltar. Secondary school principal Gereon Methner says it speaks to the commitment the two have to its students.
The Wisconsin School Counseling Program Accountability Report is a way for school counselors to take a look at their individual programs to make sure they continuously improving and getting results.
