As a March meeting to discuss the disputed status of Kewaunee County’s inclusion in the proposed National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Lake Michigan Marine Sanctuary rapidly approaches, Kewaunee County officials believe that they are ready to state their case. Kewaunee County Board Member Lee Luft says that public awareness and support for the Sanctuary continues to grow.
The meeting with NOAA is scheduled for March 13th at Knudson Hall in Algoma from 6:30 until 8:30pm. For more information on the proposal, click here.
