The first SAGE (Small, Affordable, Green, Expandable) home built in Sturgeon Bay held a tour on Sunday for a focus group consisting of people ranging from their mid-20s to their 70s that gave input last year to the home build. The 1,030-square foot house on South 15th Avenue which began construction last November expects to be completed by May. Architect Virge Temme explains the energy efficiency of the home.
The SAGE House will cost a little more than $150,000 when finished and allows for future expansion while remaining environmentally friendly. Scott Stang is the owner of the new house.
