The Sturgeon Bay City Council will meet Tuesday and consider the recommendation of the Waterfront Redevelopment Authority to proceed to refinance debt from the fourth Tax Incremental District. TID #4 encompasses the West Waterfront Area Redevelopment. Approval will give the city up to $3,350,000 to cover $3.1 million of short-term notes plus interest from 2015. The common council will also meet in closed session to address Police Union Contracts and confer with legal counsel regarding the Friends of Sturgeon Bay Public Waterfront lawsuit that ruled against the city in Door County Circuit Court on February 10. The Sturgeon Bay Common Council will meet at noon Tuesday in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
