Eagle Tower in Peninsula State Park is nearing a rebirth thanks to community support. The historic landmark was closed to the public and eventually deconstructed last fall amid safety concerns. With help from donations, a campaign to rebuild the tower is nearing the halfway point in their fundraising goal of $750,000. Rachel Stollenwerk, Campaign Director of the Eagle Tower Fund looks toward the completion of a concept design as a huge milestone and possible boost to funding.
Ayers and Associates of Eau Claire were designated as concept designer by the DNR. For more information on the project and fundraising, head to the Eagle Tower Fund website.
