Door and Kewaunee Counties were not granted a single number one seed in the regional basketball tournament starting next Tuesday. The highest seed awarded was to Luxemburg-Casco in Division 2. The Spartans are a #2 seed and earned a first round bye. They will play a regional final Friday, February 24 at home against the winner of Green Bay Southwest and Menasha.
In Division 3, Kewaunee garnered the best seed of all Packerland Conference Schools. The Storm are a #3 seed and will host #14 New Holstein Tuesday, February 21. Southern Door will host #12 seed Tuesday as well. The Eagles are the fifth seed. Sturgeon Bay is the only Packerland Conference team in Division 3 to open up tournament play on the road. They are the #13 seed and will play at #4 Kiel Tuesday night.
In Division 4, Gibraltar is a #6 seed and will host Pacelli in opening round play Tuesday, February 21. Algoma is a #7 seed and will host #10 Weyauwega-Fremont Tuesday in their regional quarterfinal matchup.
Sevastopol will play Packerland Conference foe N.E.W. Lutheran in Green Bay Tuesday. The Pioneers are a #13 seed while the Blazers are a #4 seed.
