Luxemburg-Casco School District has earned its place on the Advanced Placement (AP) Honor Roll for a second straight year. It was among 433 school districts to earn the distinction and one of only three in the region to do so. With 11 AP courses available to students, Superintendent Glenn Schlender says it is a great sign for the future.
Scores are tabulated based on increasing participation in AP courses, increasing or maintaining the number of minority students scoring a three or higher on an exam, and an improved number of students reaching a high performance standard. Last school year, 125 students took 239 AP tests at Luxemburg-Casco with 70 percent of those scoring a three or higher.
