Breaking the cycle of domestic violence is an important first step in curbing teen dating violence. HELP of Door County Executive Director Steve Vickman shares some startling statistics as February is National Teen Dating Violence Awareness month.
Vickman says dating abuse can happen to anyone regardless of sexual orientation, socio-economic class, ethnicity or religion. HELP of Door County encourages anyone who may be a victim of abuse to reach out and call them anytime on their 24-hour domestic abuse hotline.
