The Sturgeon Bay City Council will meet Tuesday to approve the a recommendation from the Community Protection & Services Committee to have the City issue a Premier Economic Development District “Class B” Liquor License to the Hotel Lingren. The hotel project is facing litigation that will start on Thursday when the Friends of the Sturgeon Bay Public Waterfront and City go to court. Other agenda items for Tuesday’s meeting include a resolution authorizing the execution of the Department of Natural Resources Principal Forgiven Financial Assistance Agreement. The Sturgeon Bay City Council will also go into closed session to discuss the sale of city property on Sycamore Street.
