The Green Bay Packers did not win Super Bowl LI, but one Packers player was still showered with praise in Houston over the weekend. The Associated Press Comeback Player of the Year Award was bestowed upon Jordy Nelson for his tremendous body of work in the 2016-2017 season.
After missing the previous season with an ACL tear that sidelined him all of 2015-2016, Nelson came back with a vengeance. He led the NFL with 14 touchdown receptions. Nelson accumulated 97 receptions for 1,257 yards to go along with his impressive touchdown total.
