The Milwaukee Bucks’ losing streak hit five Friday night as they fell to the Denver Nuggets 121-117 in the Mile High City. The Bucks could not solve Nuggets center Nikola Jokic, who recorded his first career triple-double (20 points, 13 rebounds, 11 assists) while also leading the team in scoring. Giannis Antetokounmpo almost registered his own triple-double (23 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists) while being paced in the scoring column by Jabari Parker’s 27 points. It was two late turnovers by the young Bucks stars that erased any hope of completing their 22-point comeback and made it 10 losses in their last 11 games.
The Bucks will have no time to rest as they head from the mountains to the desert to face the Phoenix Suns tonight. Tip is at 8 p.m.
