The Sevastopol School Board met in executive session Thursday to screen potential candidates for its open superintendent position and create the questions to be asked during its first round of interviews. Steve Cromell has served in his current interim role since its former superintendent Linda Underwood resigned from the district in July. The superintendent search has included enlisting the help of CESA 7 and asking residents to participate an online survey. Cromell says parents, staff, and community members have played a big role in helping the district find the right person.
Sevastopol School District plans to begin interviews at the end of the month with hopes to make their selection in the middle of March.
