The third annual “Sara and the Toy Shoppe: A Mini Ballet Production” will be shown on Sunday at the Egg Harbor Town Hall. 50 local dance residents will partake in the show about a holiday-inspired story involving a girl in a magical toy shop. Director Andrea Nikoupolis-Weliky talks about how this idea for the concert came to be so popular.
Nikoupolis-Weliky says that this years performance is very special because the studio is partnering up with “Toys For Kids” a local toy distribution organization. Attendees have been encouraged to bring an unwrapped, unopened toy that will be donated to the organization and then distributed to children in need to make their Christmas a little bit brighter this year.
If you are attending the performance, admittance for ages 10 & under are free, 10 and older is $5. Ticket sale proceeds all go towards the Youth Dance Scholarship Fund, and all of the donated, unwrapped toys will be collected at the door by “Toys For Kids” representatives.
