Northern Door Children’s Center in Sister Bay hopes to make more people aware of the importance of high-quality early childhood care during its upcoming Gold Ribbon campaign. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, consistent, developmentally sound, and emotionally supportive care has a positive effect on children and their families. Executive Director Cindy Trinkner-Peot says their looping program, which puts children together for activities as early as six weeks old, has played a major role in their success at the NDCC over the last 15 years.
