Kewaunee County is holding its 25th year of the “Toys for Tots” program in 2016. Kewaunee County Sheriff Matt Joski is in charge of the program and has been for the past 25 years. Joski says that he got his start originally in Door County with the program, and talks about the different organizations involved this year.
Kewaunee County is just one one of the thousands of locally sponsored campaigns of the national Toys for Tots Foundation. Over its life span, the Toys for Tots Program distributed over 512 million toys to over 237 million less fortunate children nationwide.
According to Joski’s Facebook post, distribution for Kewaunee County will be on December 17th at the Kewaunee grade School Cafetorium. Participants must be pre-registered.
