The League of Women Voters of Door County is holding an important conversation next Tuesday about the economic difficulties faced by working families in the area. Amy Kohnle of the United Way will present the new initiative called ALICE, which stands for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed. League of Women Voters of Door County President Nancy Fisher says the program addresses a true need in the community.
The ALICE event is free to the public and will be held in the Community Room at Sturgeon Bay City Hall next Tuesday, December 13 at 11:30 am. Attendees can bring a bagged lunch if they like and the program will run from 11:45 until 12:30. For more information on ALICE, go to the link below.
