The Minnesota Vikings are now back to even with the Packers in the NFC North standings. The Lions have a two-game lead but if they fall on Sunday and the Packers prevail, Green Bay would control their own destiny in terms of winning the division.
Sunday at noon, the (5-6) Packers will host the (6-5) Texans. It is the first home game in nearly a month for the Packers. Green Bay holds a (2-1) advantage in the series but only one team in the NFL is undefeated at Lambeau Field. The Texans are (1-0) all time in Green Bay.
Sunday’s game is expected to be another high scoring affair. Green Bay is second in the league for the most 23-plus point games dating back to Week 3.
Sunday is not quite a must win game for Green Bay. However if the Packers lose and Lions win, the playoffs are likely out of the question for the Packers this season.
