The Kewaunee County Human Services is working to keep the memory of Sara Malay alive with the annual Holiday Memorial Food Drive this December. This is the fourth year of collecting and donating food to the Kewaunee County Food Pantry for the “Giving for Sara” Food Drive. Organizer Kim Vandemoss, says the efforts are important to the community and remembering Malay, who served as the Aging Services Unit Director for Kewaunee County.
In the last three years, Kewaunee County Human Services has collected and donated more than four tons of food to the pantry. Donors receive an ornament to place on the Christmas “Memory Tree” in the lobby of the Kewaunee County Human Services building.
