A local gun shop owner believes the election of President-elect Donald Trump is good for gun sales and the Second Amendment. Trump had the backing of the National Rifle Association (NRA) during his presidential bid. Historically, the NRA throws its support behind the Republican candidate, but there was an increased discussion on what a Trump or Clinton presidency would mean for guns during this election cycle. Scott Virlee owner of Virlee Gunworks describes what the election of Trump will mean for gun sales.
Virlee said that he had a steady flow of customers coming in on Small Business Saturday and that many people he has heard from are excited about what President-elect Trump means for the Second Amendment.
