Menopause could have additional impacts on a woman’s life besides what is already happening inside her body. Door County Medical Center will host its final Living Room Series workshop next week and discuss how menopause can affect the mental health, mood, and well-being of a woman’s life. DCMC behavioral health coordinator Barb Johnson-Giese says people often associate depression during menopause as being a natural part of the process, which it is not.
The free workshop on November 30 begins at 6 p.m. on the 2nd floor of the DCMC Women’s and Children’s Center. You can call the hospital to register as space is limited.
