Finding enough workers to meet the demand of its current customers and prospects is the only hurdle N.E.W. Industries has left to jump. The Sturgeon Bay manufacturer’s business is keeping pace with the growth of its customers heading into 2017 and is getting stronger as its clientele gets more diverse. Owner Chris Moore says the continued tightening of the labor market remains its biggest challenge moving forward.
In addition to the company’s training program, N.E.W. University, Moore applauds local schools for their efforts to get people interested in the work they do.
N.E.W. Industries manufactures the precision components often unseen in the heavy construction and military industries, but also parts found in elevators, escalators, kitchens, and more.
