Kewaunee County Sheriff Matt Joski doesn’t want to “paint too rosy of a picture” when it comes to road safety as distracted driving continues to lead to crashes. October went in the history books as one of the safest months ever for Wisconsin drivers. But, Sheriff Joski sees one area that drivers need to improve upon.
Joski claims that between increased seatbelt use and a decrease in drunk driving, the roads are continuing to be safer. And if an increase in programs and awareness can deter distracted driving, Door and Kewaunee counties will be safer still.
