Newly elected Mike Gallagher believes bad blood and party affiliation can be put aside when it comes to issues like fixing the veterans administration and modernizing the military. Gallagher, a veteran, is concerned by the problems that are currently facing military men and women at VA hospitals. He believes that this is an American issue and not a political one and hopes that working together to solve this problem can help restore some civility to politics. Gallagher opines on what role Republicans should embrace moving forward after their Election Day sweep.
Gallagher will assume the U.S. House of Representatives seat from Reid Ribble on January 3rd, 2017.
