Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers accounted for 398 yards of total offense and Green Bay still lost to the Titans Sunday 45-27. After falling behind 21-0 in the first quarter the team never recovered. It marked the biggest first quarter deficit the tam faced since 1986.
Injury was again added to insult as the team lost Jake Ryan, TJ Lang and David Bakhtiari yesterday. The team is still without Clay Matthews services on defense as well.
Jordy Nelson had a tremendous statistical performance snagging 12 balls for 126 yards and a touchdown. Davante Adams keeps trending upwards as well. He finished with six catches for 156 yards.
Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota was just shy of 300 yards passing and four touchdowns. The Packers made him look a little more like Tom Brady and a little less Mariota-like. DeMarco Murray added 123 rushing yards including a 75-yard touchdown on the Titans first offensive play of the game.
Green Bay is back on the road next Sunday when they play the Washington Redskins on Sunday Night Football.
