Circuit court Judge David Weber has announced that he will run for a full term on the bench in 2017. Appointed by Governor Scott Walker in June, Weber hopes to continue the role in Door County Circuit Court Branch II for the next six years. Weber says he has embraced the learning he has done on the job with the help of the staff, lawyers, law enforcement and fellow judges.
Voters will be able to decide on the circuit court judge race in a primary on February 21 and the spring election April 4. Weber was selected from a group of seven candidates this past summer, which included outgoing District Attorney Raymond Pelrine and Family Court Commissioner Jennifer Moeller.
