The man involved in a fatal one-vehicle accident Wednesday has been identified. Kristofer M. Stitchman, 38 years old from Leopolis, Wis., died when his vehicle rolled over and struck a cement culvert and trees after entering a ditch. According to a press release from the Door County Sheriff’s Department, the crash was caused by traveling too fast on a curve on County U south of Midway Road in the Town of Clay Banks. Toxicology reports are still weeks away, but the medical examiner determined that Stitchman died from injuries related to the crash.
