A local auto service facility owner says the most important thing you can do to get your vehicle ready for winter is monitoring your tire pressure. Randy Sahs of Sahs’s Collision and Auto Center has a checklist of what you need to monitor when it comes to winterizing your car .
Good tires with above half-life thread depth is a “must have” before heading into the winter months. Sahs also says that having winter tires can make a big difference when it comes to stopping and turning. One of the most overlooked component during the process is tire pressure, which can drop in the winter two pounds per month.
