A holiday tradition returns to the Door County Maritime Museum this weekend. In its fifth year, the Merry Time Festival of Trees brings 28 trees decorated by local businesses to the Sturgeon Bay museum’s exhibit halls along with a series of holiday activities on the weekends. Door County Maritime Museum Executive Director Amy Paul says the Merry Time Festival of Trees has only improved since the event’s inception.
Weekend activities include a holiday craft workshop, a day of children’s activities, and Santa’s annual visit to the Tug John Purves. The Merry Time Festival of Trees ends December 13.
