The Door County Humane Society has partnered with Funds2Orgs to collect gently worn shoes for people living in developing countries. Through the partnership, the humane society will be given $0.40 for every pair of shoes collected. April Delfosse, Door County Humane Society Communications and Development Coordinator says you need to hurry to be a part of this shoe drive, though.
In addition, Saturday will “Gift of Giving” day at Door County Nature Works. 20% of any purchase made at the store will benefit one of four local charities. The four charities are; the Door County Humane Society, Door CANcer INC., Northern Door Children’s Center, and the United Way of Door County. Door County Nature Works is located in Egg Harbor.
