Monday night the Jim Olson Motors Red Zone on 104.1 FM WRLU was blessed to have Green Bay Packers first round draft pick Kenny Clark and quarterback Brett Hundley as our weekly guests. Each was accompanied by some specials guests of their own. Brett Hundley Sr. and his wife Sherry joined Brett Hundley Jr.’s wife Dawnielle. Kenny Clark brought his high school sweetheart Kaleeyah as his special guest.
Local families also filled The Chrysler Store. The Sturgeon Bay seventh and eighth grade volleyball teams were honored as our Team of the Week. The eighth graders won their conference tournament while the seventh graders had the best record in the Packerland this season. Coaches Chris Erwin and Kim Adams introduced the student athletes and talked about their successes.
Brett Hundley Sr. gave some new and unique perspective to our studio audience guests and listeners on 104.1 FM WRLU. We heard what it is like to be a parent of an NFL player. Since Clark and Hundley Jr. bot attended UCLA, Hundley Sr. had a lot of praise for the player and the man Clark has become.
The players took time to answer every studio audience question, signed autographs for all and posed for pictures with anyone who asked. The family friendly show is free and open to the public. Next week the program moves to Jim Olson Motors GM/Chevy location. Brett Hundley’s player guest will be wide receiver Geronimo Allison. The show runs from 5:30 – 7:00 PM on 104.1 FM and is streamed worldwide at DoorCountyDailyNews.com. Click on the listen on demand button on the right hand side of our home page to listen anywhere in the world live or on demand after the show.
Sevastopol fourth, fifth and sixth grade girls basketball will be honored as our team of the week next Monday.
